Probably the most recognizable clock of the George Nelson design collection, the Ball is a definitive icon of its time. It is best described as atomic retro wall art, and makes a clever space impression, particularly if other modern classics occupy the room.  No designer was able to evoke the retro aura of designer wall clocks like George. In fairness, he had a bit of practice. He created over 150 designs for the Howard Miller company during the mid century years. We all have a need to know the time, but it does not mean timekeeping has to be boring. Why not do it in mid century classic George Nelson style?
